2024 SOUTHEAST COLORADO CAMP MEETING
"Lifting Him Up Again"
Camp Meeting Speakers
The Rocky Mountain Conference of Seventh-day Adventists is proud to present a panel of SE CO local pastors and lay leaders to share about our Savior and the importance of Lifting Him Up Again!
Pastor of Canon City SDA & Leadville SDA Churches
Josh Sholock
Josh Sholock is currently pastoring the Canon City SDA Church, as well as the Leadville SDA Church. Josh is married to his wife, Bonnie, and they have two children, Judah and Lola. Josh is a West Virginia native and thrives in the great outdoors! If God had not called him to full-time pastoral ministry, Josh would have been a forest ranger. Josh is an avid fly-fisherman. He also enjoys trail running, backpacking, hiking, and hanging out with his family. When he isn't enjoying God in nature, he is studying the word and worshiping God through music. His biggest passion is to help others see that we are only saved through Christ our righteousness. Josh desires people to learn of the freedom of Christ's grace and His never-ending love.
Pastor of the Springs South & Woodland Park SDA Churches
Lucas Lujan
Lucas Lujan is a native Coloradan and is married to his wife Asbury Lujan and they have three kids: Elijah (17), Elonzo (15) and Luciano (14). Lucas was born and raised in South-East Colorado Springs, CO. He considers it a blessing to pastor in his home community of Colorado Springs, as well as the Woodland Park SDA Church. Lucas' hobbies include exercising with his sons, sketching, shading and blending art, and watching Colorado sports teams compete in their season games. He considers it only by God's grace that he accomplished the task of leaving a lifestyle of gang and violence to follow Jesus and experience His grace with his wife and sons. Lucas has a passion and love to share his Fatih in Christ with those who don't know Him yet. He says, "there is nothing like seeing their face light up with hope when they think of how the Bible describes God's love and mercy for humanity." Something funny about Lucas is he laughs at random thoughts that come to his mind out of nowhere and he mispronounces a lot of words, but he believes people get what he's trying to say!
Pastor of Colorado Springs Central SDA Church
Dave Ketelsen
Dave Ketelsen is currently pastoring the Colorado Springs Central SDA church. Dave is an avid runner and has completed 64 marathons and has qualified for Boston 64 times. Besides running, he loves to focus on Jesus and looks for opportunities to share this wonderful 3 angels message with those who know Him not. Some interesting facts about Dave are: he once fell off a 45 foot waterfall and survived, he came face-to-face within two feet from a bear at Yosemite, and scaled a 6 ft high fence narrowly escaping a charging bull. A funny quirk about Dave is that he has been doing 100 push-ups every day for the past 30+ years. He is married to his beautiful wife, Debbie, and they have four amazing children: Austin, Myles, Jayla and Collin. And don't forget Gizmo, their awesome Golden/Lab. His main goal in life is getting sinners into heaven and saints out of bed, to comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable.
